Erika Carosi
Construction SaaS Sales Representative at Strategies Group
Erika graduated from The University of Phoenix with honors, receiving a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Project Management. Since beginning her career, Erika has spent 3 years of project management and 19 years in sales which has allowed her to become a powerhouse in both sectors. As a construction expert with the Strategies Group, Erica offers a wealth of knowledge on technology solutions and construction services.
The Highlights
Erika Carosi’s construction journey began in 1999 when she was a project manager for a telecommunications company. Later, she would fall in love with software.
She now sells construction software and ERP systems, partnering with businesses to find a full solution for their needs. Erica’s favorite thing about selling these solutions is working alongside her team and helping companies streamline their processes. Her goal is to make people’s lives easier and afford them more time with their families by introducing technology to make work-life balance more possible.
fear of change
When it comes to implementing new technology, Erica says that the biggest challenge is the fear of change. Many people don’t know what technology is available or how it can make their lives easier. Even if they do have an idea of what is out there, they might not be working with the right company or partners to help them make the transition.
Plus, the fear of losing data or not understanding cloud-based technology makes people hesitant to make a change. Despite this, Erica emphasizes the importance of embracing technology to improve one’s workflow, rather than continuing to rely on outdated methods such as paper-based systems.
building confidence
Erica is also a member of Shotgun Sisters—a networking group that encourages and empowers women in the otherwise male-dominated construction industry to participate in shooting activities. The group meets monthly to shoot and even receives training from a master shooter.
These women are not only developing their shooting skills, but also building confidence in themselves. The monthly meet-ups are also a great way for women to gather, exchange ideas, and support each other. Besides attending these meetups, the group also participates in volunteering activities and gives back to the community. Shotgun Sisters serves as a perfect example of how women can break barriers and excel in unconventional fields, and in turn, inspire others to do so.
connecting financials with the field
Strategies Group—a consulting firm for construction technology—assists companies in finding and implementing software that suits their needs as well as provide training. They strive to help clients find the best solutions, even if it means recommending a solution they do not sell. They also work with various types of companies and have partnered with Assignar because we complement Strategies Group’s main solution—Acumatica.
This partnership between Acumatica and Assignar aims to connect the financial and field data of businesses in real-time. Our cloud-based systems allow for this integration, simplifying the process and providing a single source of truth. While some people may find the technology overwhelming, the ROI in investing in such solutions can greatly benefit a business in an industry with minimal margins. Cloud technology also provides a long-lasting solution that can keep up with the times.
