Meet our leadership team

 

Sean McCreanor
CEO & Co-Founder

Sean started his career in tech in the late 90s. After starting a specialist IT firm with some colleagues and then successfully exiting that business in 2005, Sean went on to co-found a specialty civil & rail sub-contracting business. After an exhaustive search for a platform that would tackle common operational challenges he saw in his business, Sean began developing Assignar for in-house use in 2013.

Marko Tomic - CTO

Marko Tomic
CTO & Co-Founder

Marko has built a career as a customer-focused technologist, developing and architecting world-class web solutions and products in a wide range of industries, such as digital agencies, education, media, telecommunications, government, and, of course, construction.

Prior to co-founding Assignar, Marko worked for notable companies such as NetX (acquired by Clemenger BBDO), Adcorp, Optus, Learnosity (founding team member) and Mamamia Women’s Network.

Lauren Fox
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Lauren carved out her career working with tech startups because she believes in the real difference they can make and the impact she can have. After years of working in public accounting serving tech startups and growth-stage SaaS companies, she joined an ethics and compliance SaaS company to build out its accounting function until its successful exit in 2021. Backed by a mutual VC to her previous employer, Lauren now serves Assignar in creating the foundation that helps businesses scale.

Jordan Stewart
CHIEF REVENUE OFFICEr

Jordan has 14 years of sales leadership experience and loves to create consistent processes across the entire customer journey. He joined Assignar in 2023 from Appfolio, a public vertical Saas company in the Real Estate sector. In his previous role he was responsible for building and scaling teams into the enterprise and new adjacent markets. At Assignar he is focused on scaling Sales, Marketing, and Client Services to deliver the best customer journey as we expand globally.

SOPHIE EDWARDS
HEAD OF PEOPLE & CULTURE

Sophie is an Organizational Psychologist with a focus on culture, leadership, organizational development, and employee lifecycle design & delivery. Sophie’s experience includes People Leadership roles in early-stage startups, tech, consulting, and Not-For-Profit organizations. Sophie joined Assignar from Hatch in 2022, where she built out the People & Culture strategy and function from scratch, contributed to business strategy, and led multiple Product initiatives.

LAURIE LOWE
VP OF CLIENT SERVICES

Laurie’s diverse background includes operations and services roles in investment management, construction manufacturing, and technology sectors. She then transitioned to SaaS. She joined Assignar in 2023 after AppFolio, where she built and led the Client Services org for the new AppFolio Investment Manager product. She also helped shape the business strategy and fostered product growth and client expansion. Laurie’s dedication lies in building and leading high-performing Client Services teams, advocating for the voice of the customer, and delivering exceptional service outcomes.
